Introducing IslandData™

Take your inbox to the islands.

Starting today, July 15, 2008, PalmCall customers with an iPhone 3G, BlackBerry or other 3G smartphone can use data in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands on the Pinecrest island network. Pick a pass, turn on data roaming, and go — check email, find the best beach with maps, upload photos or keep up with the news.

No bill shock. Data roaming stays off until you buy a pass. When your pass runs out, data simply stops — no overage charges, ever.

Pinecrest exclusive

IslandData is built on IslandRoam™, the Pinecrest service that launched island roaming for voice and text back in 2001. PalmCall joined the Pinecrest family in November 2007 and now shares the network, the roaming partners and the island know-how.

Email

Push email keeps working on the beach, so nothing waits till you’re back. About 20 messages is under half a megabyte.

Maps & directions

Find restaurants in Old San Juan or the road to El Yunque with maps and GPS on iPhone 3G.

Photos & web

Share sunset shots the moment you take them, and browse the mobile web without worry.
