PalmCall and Pinecrest Communications are fictional companies. This site is a creative, nostalgic web-design project set in July 2008 — the era of the iPhone 3G, the iPod classic and glossy “Web 2.0” buttons. There is no real service, store, sweepstakes or billing. The contact and sweepstakes forms do not store what you enter. The sign-up, activation and My PalmCall system does save the (made-up!) details you give it in a database on this server, so you can sign in later; you can delete your data at any time from My PalmCall > Profile. Please do not enter real personal information or a real password, and prefer the encrypted https:// address (a Let's Encrypt certificate is installed), although the plain http:// address also works. Card payments accept only test card numbers, and only the brand and last four digits are kept. Phone numbers are always from the fictional 555-01xx range.
